"THE TESTIMONY OF GABRIEL" 

Luke 1:26-37 

26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, 

27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. 

28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. 

29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. 

30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 

31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 

32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 

33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. 

34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 

35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. 

36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. 

37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.The purpose of this message is to build your faith. To every man has been giving the measure of faith (Rom. 12:3). The purpose of this message is to give you hope in a hopeless situation, in a time of your life when you're fighting for your very existence. None of us are without problems of life, none of us are without adversity, none of us are trouble free. 


I. TESTIMONY: 

Testimony---"A statement made to establish a fact." 

I have been to court one time in my life. I was called to be a character witness. I gave a testimony to this person's character, I made statements to establish a fact. 

You have been to court and listened to witnesses as they testified for the accused. Statements to establish a fact.

There's testimonies from the Word of God I want you to notice: 
I Jn 1:1-3 

1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; 

2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) 

3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: 

I Jn 4:14 

14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. 



II. ANGELS: 

1. Angel of encouragement came to Gideon. (Judges 6:11) 

2. Angel of death came to Egypt.(Ex. 11) 

3. Angel of destruction came to Sodom.(Gen. 19) 

4. Angels of ministering came to Jesus.(Matt. 4:11) 

5. Angel of deliverence came to Peter.(Acts 12:7) 

6. Angels for pallbearers came for Lazarus.(Luke 16) 

7. Angel of good tidings of great joy came to the Shepherds.(Luke 2:8) 

8. Angels of praise joined the Angel at the Shepherds meeting.(Luke 2:13) 

9. Angel of promise stood by Paul in the night on ship.(Acts 27:23) 

10.Angel in the church house came to Zachariass.(Luke 1:11) 

11.Angel of Messianic promise came to Mary.(Luke 1:26) 

Gabriel, the messenger of God when he came to Zachariass, Luke 1:19 And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence ofGod; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings. 

1. "That stand in the presence of God." Had been standing there for how long? I believe Gabriel was with God at creation. Maybe God was talking to him when He said "let us make man". 

2. "I am sent." I'm not here on my own but I was sent by God.

III. "WITH GOD nothing SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE: 

Gabriella has watched God for thousands of years. He stood in astonishment as God spoke the universe into existence. He stood in amazement, with surprise, and wonderment, in veneration, in admiration, and in consternation, at every miracle from creation.
