I. ATTITUDE
a.. Positive leaders help make it happen, negative leaders can keep it from happening
b. Positive leaders gain respect and are sought for counsel
c. Leader attitudes are reflected in those they lead

2. SINCERITY
a. Sincerity generates trust and allows for sound rapport
b. Insincerity is recognized by all and destroys relationships

3. FAIRNESS
a. Pursues all the facts, not just those they prefer to hear or ones easy to deal with
b. Faces issues directly and never listens to just one side of an issue

4 GOOD JUDGEMENT
a. Recognizes urgent situations and responds accordingly
b. Deals with integrity and confidentiality
c. Involves the right people, those involved and/or responsible
d. Surrounds themselves with good people

5. SELF-DISCIPLINE
a. Self-motivated
b. Walks the talk
c. Goal and objective oriented
d. Requests and accepts constructive criticism

6. RESPECT FOR OTHERS
a. Sensitive and considerate of others
b. Minimizes embarrassment to others
c. Never considers getting even or back at others d. Doesn’t hold prejudices
