God’s Employment

Matt 20:1-7

1 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire laborers into his vineyard.
2 And when he had agreed with the laborers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
3 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,
4 And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.
5 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.
6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?
7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive. (KJV)

Introduction: I am a recruiter for God’s employment. I came here tonight to make a pitch for an employer who will treat you fair, pay you well and provide excellent benefits:

Now his company is not listed among the Fortune 500. We recruit from all walks of life.

Tonight I want to make my presentation and then choose ye this day whom you will serve.

1) Your first question might be, How Long has the company been in business…
Psa 90:2 says Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.

How stable is the company? Has there been any takeover attempts: Well there was one when the C.E.O. tried to overthrow the company, but I read in the Presidents journal where Jesus said, I beheld Satan as lightening fall from heaven. It’s been pretty stable ever since.

Providing you are hired, there are some documents that is needed to qualify you for employment. I have to be certain that you are lawful to work in the country: You must have an I9 document to satisfy The Department of Immigration and Naturalization…

What I like about these documents, you can’t carry it around in your wallet or your purse. Job said, my witness is in heaven and my record in on high.. (Your name must be written above)

You must go through Orientation: Luke 24:49 says ..but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

We have excellent benefits:

Health Assurance: James 5:14-15
14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

Profit Sharing : Mal 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Stock Purchase: Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Credit Union: Matt 6:19-20

19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

Retirement Plan: John 14:1-3 1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

The harvest is ripe, but the laborers are few. God is looking for labors in the vineyard….

Before you join up, we do have a dress code:

In your employee handbook you will find our dress code: Eph. 6: “Put on the whole armour of God…
