Is the Holy Spirit for us today?

Acts 8:14-20
This gift cannot be bought with money.

It is to whosoever will. It is for anyone who longs to do the words of Christ, “And greater things shall ye do.” Be open to receive the Holy Spirit.

Analogies

Matthew 14 – Peter walking to Jesus on the water.
Jesus gave Peter authority to walk on the water. All that was left was for Peter, on his own power, to get out of the boat and put one foot in front of the other on the water.

John 2 – Wedding at Cana of Galilee.

Like little children the servants did what Jesus bid them and they received a miracle.

How to receive the Holy Ghost?
