Psalm 8:3-5, “When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and haste crowned him with glory and honour.”

Exodus 34:29, “And it came to pass, that when Moses came down from mount Sinai, with the two tables of testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist (did not know) not that the skin of his face shown while he (God) talked with him.
Exodus 32:19-20, “And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses’ anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount. :20, And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed (scattered) it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.”
When you pulverize gold and break its metallic structure down, then throw it on water; it becomes the color of red. It was symbolic of blood. You can’t make atonement without blood, or a symbol of blood.
He goes back up on the mountain and gets the Ten Commandments a second time. From about Chapter 20 on through, Moses made 6 trips up and down the mountain. In chapter 34 he is coming down for the 6th time.
6 is the number of man. 7 is the number of perfection. After you’ve reached as far as you can, here comes perfection. God’s law is perfect converting the soul.
When Moses goes up on that sixth time…first he went up and God talked to him and then told him to go down, Chen he went back up again and he said, “I told the people what You said”, then God said, “Now go back down and a border around them….”
…Then He called Moses up the next time and he brought three guys up with him, after he got the
Commandments, then he brought the elders of Israel and they saw a sapphire stone and the Lord was standing above it, (fifth time)…and the sixth time he goes back up to get the 10 Commandments.
By this time Moses must have realized that he was learning a lot from being
God’s presence—he asked God if he could see His glory.
Exodus 34:29 …when Moses came down from the mount he was radiating the glory of God, it shone from his skin, but he didn’t know it.
That’s where God wants to get us: Where we can shine and not know it. When you really experience the glory of God you become unconscious of yourself.
Exodus 33:13-16, “Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.”
