Me and My Church

ME AND MY CHURCH
Charles Lambert

If every member in My Church, was just like Me, what kind of a Church, would my Church be?

If every member in My Church fasted, prayed, attended Sunday School, preaching, just like Me, prayed for the Pastor, and the SUCCESS of the Church, and supported it SPIRITUALLY and
FINANCIALLY, just like Me, what kind of a Church, would my Church be?

If every member acted, just like Me, complimented the Pastor, the rest of the folks, just like Me, visited the sick, and prayed with, and for them, just like Me, Oh! what kind of a Church would
my Church be?

If every member testified, sang, and said AMEN at the preaching of God’s Word, and were willing to WORK and PRAY for the SALVATION of the lost, just like Me, what kind of a Church, would my Church be?

If all were willing to SERVE anytime, anywhere, let the weather be hot or cold, wet or dry, willing to SUFFER, and the desires of the flesh deny, in CONSECRATION, self-denial and DEDICATION, just like Me, Oh! What kind of a Church would my Church be?

If every member of my Church lived at home, or on the streets, and acted, and looked, just like Me, what kind of a Church, would my Church be?

THUS if every member in my Church was a member, just like Me, What would my Church be?
