My Time Alone

My time alone
I spend with God
To help seek strength
For the road I must trod,

I go to the meadow
As we tarry there
I tell Him of
My worries and cares,

I know His love
In my heart will abide
For He is with me
When I laugh, when I cry.

My God is with me
When I sigh, when I sing.
My God is with me
In everything.

My God is with me
When I roam
But closest to me
In my time alone.
