There Are Two Kinds Of…

THERE ARE TWO KINDS OF…
BY CHARLES AND FRANCES HUNTER

We have been having incredible success with this simple little tool of winning people to Jesus. Occasionally Charles likes to say, “Those who have accepted Jesus and those who are about to.” For some reason or another I keep saying, “Those who are saved and those who are about to be.”

He likes to put the name of Jesus in front of them. I vividly remember how the word “saved” struck a knife into my heart when a girl asked me, “When were you saved?” That’s why I like to use the word “saved.”

We were discussing this recently with a pastor from Colorado. I said to him, “I would like to find the man who told me how to do this! I want to thank him because thousands of people have been saved as a
result of this. I can’t find anyone who knows who he was because as soon as I led the waitress to Jesus he said, ‘I have another appointment, so I have to go now ‘ and be got up and left!”

The pastor looked very intently at us and he said, “Did it ever dawn on you that it could have been an angel bringing God’s special end time revival message? That’s the reason it has been so successful
because it came straight from God!” He continued, “I would not change one word the angel said!”

Shivers went up and down my spine!

Charles and I were so astonished because neither of us had thought of this possibility. Once again I called all ten of the people who were at the table and not one person knew who he was, most of them
don’t even remember him being there and none of them heard him talking except me (Frances).

We believe with our hearts and souls that the man was a special angel sent by God to bring the simple end time revival message to the body of Christ.

The Word tells us in Hebrews 1:14, “Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?”

There Are Two Kinds Of…

There are two kinds of people who will read this book…

There are two kinds of waitresses in restaurants…

There are two kinds of cashiers in grocery stores…

And there are only two kinds of people in the world: those who are saved and those who are about to be saved! Which one are you?

The world is crying out for revival! Have we made revival so complicated and traditional that it will never take place or is there a simple way for every church to have a great revival?

Real revival is when all believers get so excited about Jesus we cannot talk about anything else and so we go out and talk about Him wherever we go!

When we have a guest speaker and people get saved, that’s good, but you cannot revive that which has never been “vived.” Revival is getting Christians re-excited about what happened to them because they
often lose their zeal for Jesus. This little book can bring revival to you, your church, your city, your state, the whole world.

A simple little luncheon can change your life and it can change your thinking about the way to do things! We were in a restaurant in a very small town in Missouri where you might not expect outstanding things to happen. A gentleman came in and sat down at our table. I still don’t know who he is nor where he came from nor who he came with because there were several of us there and he had to leave. Before he
left he made an interesting statement. He said, “Frances, I know how much you’ve always loved winning people to Jesus and I’ve just discovered a new way and want to share it with you.”

We’re always interested in learning new ways to win people to Jesus because that’s the burning desire of our heart at all times. He said, “As soon as the waitress gets to the table I will say to her, ‘There are two kinds of waitresses, those who are saved and those who are about to be, which are you?”‘ I was fascinated at the question because it doesn’t give you an out!

I instantly recognized it was a “win/win” situation and there was no way you could lose! They are either saved or the only other answer they can give you is, “I am about to be.” So I said, “Let me try it on the waitress. Don’t you do it, let me.” When the waitress came up I asked her the question which has now become so familiar with us at all times, “There are two kinds of beautiful waitresses who work in this
restaurant. Those who are saved and those who are about to be, which are you?”

I did not expect the type of reply we got at all so it was a total and a complete shock! She simply started crying and said, “Boo hoo, boo hoo, boo hoot I guess I’m the last one.” God’s Holy Spirit beat me to her and He had her completely prepared and hungry! I was holding her hand and I didn’t let it go so I said, “Wonderful! Repeat this after me,” and I said, “Father, forgive my sins, Jesus come into my heart and make me the kind of person You want me to be. Thank You for saving me today.” She repeated the prayer and once again burst into tears.

I asked her, “Where is Jesus right now?” She said, “In my heart!” She was so affected by her conversion that she had to go into the kitchen for about ten minutes and cry before she could come back and wait on us again! It was really a glorious experience and it taught us something…it is so easy to win people to Jesus in this very simple way.

This started us training a lot of other people to do exactly the same thing with incredible results.

Every church wants revival and yet if we want revival we have to put our faith into action and go out and do something.

We believe with our hearts and souls if the body of Christ in every church in the world could get the idea of going out and saying, “There are two kinds of…” to everybody they meet that we would have a nation-wide revival so fast because real revival is getting the body of Christ turned on and really revved up to talk about Jesus! There’s nothing that will send your spirit soaring more than to win somebody to Jesus.

In a church the other day we were encouraging everybody to go out and say, “There are two kinds of people” and one lady realized that her mother was not saved and was in the hospital and not in good condition. She immediately left the church, went to the hospital and said, “Mother, there are two kinds of patients in this hospital, those who are saved and those who are about to be. Which are you?” Believe it or not the mother said, “I think it’s about time and I’m about to be,” and the daughter led her in a sinner’s prayer. Do you have any idea what this did to the girl when her own mother repeated the sinner’s prayer?

Remember, you cannot lose because if the person is already saved then it is exciting for them to hear about Jesus. If they are not saved then you have the opportunity of bringing them right into the kingdom
of God. That is a delight to Jesus because that was His sole purpose in coming to earth. He gave us that assignment and responsibility. When we do it, we are mightily blessed – and so is Jesus.

Instead of the word “saved” you may say, “Those who have accepted Jesus as their Savior and Lord and those who are about to. Which are you?” Charles likes to use this because he said, “You get the name of
Jesus out there.” I prefer to use “saved” because I know when a girl asked me the first time, “Are you saved?” I was so convicted that I didn’t like the girl for a long, long time.

I want to challenge you to use your imagination in whatever situation you find yourself. Look at some of these exciting stories and then go out and do likewise.

Every person you meet is an opportunity! I had a problem with my foot and had to go to a specialist. While the technician was putting on the cast, I said to him, “There are two kinds of people who put on casts, those who are saved and those who are about to be. Which are you?” His response was immediate. He said, “I’m the last one.” He prayed to receive Jesus.

We have continued to see him over the months while my foot was in the healing process. He thanks me profusely every time we see him. On a previous visit he had asked us to pray that he would pass the state
examination which would put him up to a higher level professionally. When we went in the next month, the first thing he said was, “God answers prayer because I passed with flying colors!” It is so easy and so exciting if you remember every person you meet is an opportunity.

People all over the world are hungry, hungry, hungry for the bread of life and they are thirsty, thirsty, thirsty for the living water.

On a recent-trip to California a limousine picked us up to take us to the meeting place. The first question we asked the driver was, “There are two kinds of gentlemen who drive limousines, those who have accepted Jesus, and those who are about to – which are you?”

The man promptly said, “I’m not only saved, I’m a Spirit-filled believer and I go to church and I’ve been saved for years.”

We had the most interesting conversation all the way out to our meeting place talking about the miracles and what Jesus is doing today! He shared with us that he coaches a basketball team which he asked us
to pray for and asked that God would give him real wisdom so that he can be an outstanding example to these young people.

When we got into the hotel they had arranged for a wheelchair for me because of my foot and one man pushed it from the curb about ten feet inside the hotel. Then he turned it over to another man. Charles
stopped the first bellman in the hotel doorway and said, “There are two kinds of handsome bellmen; did you know that?” He said he was the second one. He prayed to receive Jesus as his Savior and Lord and then said, “Jesus is in my heart.” Charles got to the elevator almost as fast as the man did pushing me in the wheelchair, so our trip started off beautifully – it doesn’t take long!

On the way back they had arranged for the same limousine company to take us back to the airport and we were hoping for the same driver but we got another one. Of course, the first thing we asked him was,
“There are two kinds of…”

He said, “Well, I think I’m the first one.” He said it very hesitantly, so we knew what the true answer was. We asked him a second question, “If you died right now, do you know that you would go to heaven?”

He said, “I think so because I’m a good man. I’m a Catholic.” We said, “Just being a good man doesn’t do it, you have to be born again.”

I said, “Let’s repeat this so you will be sure.” He repeated the prayer with eagerness and then answered the question as to where Jesus was now, knowing that Jesus was in his heart. This really excited him and he said, “Thank you, thank you, thank you!” Then he told us the truth. “You know really, my life is a mess. There are just things that oughtn’t to be there. I’m forty years old and I’m not married yet and I want to get married. I want to quit smoking.”

We prayed for a wife for him and then we prayed for deliverance from cigarettes and told him the only way not to smoke again is to not buy any more cigarettes.

The trip to the airport was thirty minutes and we talked all the way about the things of God and what God could do for him. Then when we got out, we wrote down the names of two churches very close to where he lives in Anaheim so he could go to both of them and try them out. When we left him at the airport, he could not say thank you enough. Over and over again he repeated, “This has changed my life and you don’t know how much I appreciate it.”

After we got on the plane, we were blessed because we had the first two seats and we were sitting there just waiting while the passengers got on so the plane could take off when the man who had driven us out to the hotel came rushing on the plane and said, “I knew what time your plane was leaving and I couldn’t let you go without saying thank you, thank you, thank you for what your being in my limousine meant to me yesterday.” He was absolutely ecstatic and grateful for the fact that we had talked to him about Jesus instead of about the weather and about smog!

He did not know the other driver and we gave him his name and told him to look him up and take good care of him because he had just accepted Jesus as his Savior and Lord.

There was a wheelchair waiting for meat the Houston airport and this lady had already accepted Jesus as her Savior and Lord. Think of the lives which were affected just because we ask that simple question,
“There are two kinds of… , those who have accepted Jesus and those who are about to, which are you?”

We want to encourage you, not only for the sake of those people out there who are crying for somebody to feed them, it’s for your own sake because by the time the two of us got home, we were absolutely
flying on a cloud just because of what God had done because we opened our mouths.

On a recent trip to Michigan we were trying to encourage the pastor to ask everybody he met that now famous question, “There are two kinds of…” He was a little reluctant because sometimes it is difficult for people to understand that this does work. When the evening service was over, we had not had any lunch and it was now close to 11 o’clock at night. He said the only place open was a Subway shop so we stopped there. As we were waiting at the drive through, from the back seat we kept saying, “There are two kinds of people who work at Subway,” but he cleared his throat, cleared his throat, obviously receiving an instant attack of sinus as he tried to think of some excuse not to ask the question. Then suddenly he saw a car drive up behind us at the pick-up window so he said, “Well, I can’t say anything because there’s a car back there now.”

We laughed at him and told him that it was just because he was “chicken.” However, the next day we went to lunch at a Chinese restaurant and Charles led the waiter to Jesus. We tried to encourage the pastor and his wife to do it but they were still reluctant. When they saw the victory as this man accepted Jesus, we saw something begin to change in them.

When lunch was over we went out to the car and thought the pastor was with us, but he was delayed a few moments. Before long he came out with his hands up in the air yelling, “Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! I just got the cashier!” He was so excited because he said, “I was so surprised when I told her there were two kinds of…” She immediately said, “I guess I’m the second one,” and she prayed to receive Jesus.

This was all he needed! When we went into the next restaurant to eat, there was a young man wearing a basketball T-shirt. The pastor “got” him because Charles didn’t get there first.

Charles said to the young man, “Do you play basketball?” He said, “Not any more because I injured my knee.” Charles said, “Well, would you like Jesus to heal it?” The young man said, “Yes!” He pulled his
pants leg up and showed Charles his badly scarred and crippled knee.

God supernaturally intervened and gave him a new knee. He suddenly got up and started running around the restaurant, jumping up and down and was so excited because his knee was healed! He was saved!

The pastor was absolutely ecstatic because he saw the second time he asked that question the person accepted Jesus, so that was two in a row. He can’t be stopped now!

On the way home they got a wheelchair for me (doctor’s orders). However, at the airport, the one who picks you up outside can only take you to the ticket counter. We asked her and she was already saved and
promptly proceeded to give us a good testimony about what Jesus had done in her life. This always makes us feel a little disappointed because we don’t get to lead somebody else to Jesus but it does excite
them to know that there are people out there talking about Jesus.

She turned me over to another lady so we asked the same question and she said, “I’m the second one.” As soon as she prayed the prayer, she began to cry. She said, “I’m in the midst of a horrible divorce and if ever I needed something, I needed it today.” She was so gracious and so thankful that we had asked her that question which opened the door to give her the peace that passes all understanding. Then we prayed for their marriage and when we came home we sent her a book on how to make your marriage exciting. We always try to get their name and address so we can keep up with them and we send them a book which is pertinent to their circumstances.

Coming home to Houston we fell asleep on the plane so we didn’t get to talk to any of the flight attendants. But again, there was a wheelchair waiting for me in Houston. One man could only push me up from the plane to the gate. The man at the gate was very charming and he said he had called an electric cart to pick us up and to take us the rest of the way. We had to sit there for a few minutes so Charles asked him the wonderful question only this time he said, “There are two kinds of handsome men who make fabulous announcements. Those who are saved and those who are about to be. Which are you?” The man said, “You know, I’ve been wondering for a long time.” Charles said, “Well, let’s get the wondering over right now,” so the man prayed to receive Jesus right then and there on the spot.

It is so easy and it produces so much fruit if we will just get out there and do it.

The devil is the one who tells you to keep your mouth shut. The devil is the one who says, “It won’t work.” He is the one who puts his hand over the mouth of Christians and says, “Don’t use that name!” But Jesus is saying, “Get out there and do it and do it now!”

A telephone call can be a very interesting opportunity. A friend of ours answered the telephone and obviously the person did not recognize her voice so he said, “I’m sorry, I must have dialed the wrong telephone number.”

She said, “No, you got the right number even if you dialed the wrong number.” Then she continued, “There are two kinds of people who dial wrong numbers, those who are saved and those who are about to be which are you?”

The man said, “I guess I’m about to be because nobody ever asked me that question before.” He prayed a prayer asking Jesus to come into his heart and was so grateful and thanked her over and over and over
again for asking him that “two kinds” of question. He said, “No one has ever asked me if I knew Jesus before today.”

In a restaurant one day there were a number of us eating together and only one waitress was taking care of us so she really had her hands full. One of the ladies at our table said to her, “Did you know that there are two kinds of waitresses who work in this restaurant?”

The lady said, “No, I didn’t know that. What are they?”

She said, “Those who have accepted Jesus as their Savior and Lord and those who are about to. Which are you?”

The lady drew herself up very haughtily and said, “I don’t discuss religion on the job.”

This could throw you so you might back down (well, I’m not sure what I would say at a time like that but you need to be alert and bold), so this lady said, “I don’t discuss religion either. I’m discussing your eternal destiny whether you want to spend eternity in heaven or hell.”

The lady said, “Heaven.”

Our friend said, “Repeat this after me right now!” She did and got saved right on the spot.

We do most of our grocery shopping in a large supermarket which is close to our condo, so we have discovered that it is vital that we not carry anything out to our car. When we go in even for something as
small as a quart of milk we ask them to carry it out for us because we have a reason in the back of our minds.

As they carry it out for us (and we always make sure we give them a good tip) we tell them that there are two kinds of executive bag boys at the supermarket, those who are saved and those who are about to be.
We have led almost every single one of them to Jesus and at this point they know us so well that they say, “Oh, you got me three weeks ago” or “You got me two months ago,” or some statement similar to that.

We were really delighted when summer came to an end so those young people would go off to college so we could have some new ones in there and we would have a whole new crew to work on. Sure enough, the other night we had a brand new bag boy take our groceries out. He was so mad and unhappy because somebody had taken his wallet which had $93.00 in it and all he could talk about was the wallet that somebody had stolen.

We made remarks like, “Well, let’s believe God is going to bring it back,” but nothing would convince him that anything good was going to happen. He was furious, but when we got to the car and he got all
the groceries in, we gave him a nice tip. Then Charles asked him the famous, “There are two kinds of…” and believe it or not, he accepted Jesus as his Savior and Lord. When we asked him where Jesus was, he
said, “In my heart,” and he was so excited. Then we prayed for him that God would give him back the wallet that he had lost.

On a recent flight we told a flight attendant, “There are two kinds of flight attendants,” and she said to us, “I’m Catholic.”

I said, “That’s wonderful. Catholics need to be born again. Have you ever asked Jesus to come into your heart?”

She said, “I don’t really know whether I have or not,” so she prayed the prayer right there on the plane.

This is the most incredible way to win somebody to Jesus. Just try it and see what happens.

When we were getting off a plane recently we went to get our luggage and Charles asked the aircap the wonderful “two kinds of,’ question and the aircap said, “I’m not interested.”

When he got our luggage Charles noticed that he was limping so he said to him, “What’s the matter with you?”

The man said, “I have a bad knee.”

Charles said, “Sit down and let’s let Jesus heal your knee.”

When you go with the anointing of God it is amazing what people will do, so the man promptly sat down. Charles measured his legs. The one leg was short because of the bad knee problem. It grew out and the man was instantly healed. He jumped up and down, accepted Jesus and he said, “I’m going upstairs and tell all the other aircaps what happened to me!”

Two friends of ours went to a store after a service and while the man was standing outside he saw an old man sitting there who was yawning. Our friend made the usual greetings and said, “You must be tired.”

The man said, “Yes, I’m re-tired.”

Our friend said, “Well, I’m retired too. Did you know that there are two kinds of retired people – those who have accepted Jesus as their Savior and Lord and those who are about to?”

The man said, “I guess I’m the one that is about to because I never have before,” so he accepted Jesus as his Savior and Lord.

In a restaurant, one of our party had asked all of the people there about salvation and it seemed that all of them were saved. When they went to pay their bill, the manager was at the cash register. He asked, “What is that you’ve been doing?” so she told him.

He said, “Well, you know, I’m a Christian. I think that’s absolutely wonderful but how do you do it?”

She said, “Wait a minute. Here comes a lady.” A lady came up who was a chef at the restaurant. Our friend said, “There are two kinds of chefs at this restaurant. One who has accepted Jesus and one who is
about to which are you?”

The woman broke into tears and began to cry and she said, “I guess I’m the one that’s about to.” She prayed the sinner’s prayer and then the manager of the restaurant broke into tears because this was his wife! He had been praying for her a long time!

We were riding in a car while the associate pastor of a church was showing us some of their property. When we came back we discovered there was a brand new red truck parked right at the driveway leading to the church. This church is way out in the country and it was unusual that there would be somebody parked there. We stopped the car and the driver of our car said, “Is there anything we can do to help you?”

The young man said, “No, I’m just out here videoing deer.”

We had seen a deer the night before so we knew that was a legitimate reason. We were trying to teach this particular church how to do the “two kinds of” thing and show them how easy it was. The associate pastor in the car said to him, “Where are you from?”

The young man replied, “I’m from Elgin.”

We whispered from the back seat, “Tell him there are two kinds of people from Elgin.” The pastor’s wife was riding in the front seat and she got the idea really quickly. She said, “There are two kinds of people who live in Elgin. Those who are saved and those who are about to be, which are you?”

To her utter amazement he said, “I guess I’m the second one.”

She sat there and I whispered, “Tell him to repeat this after you,” because you don’t want to ever drop someone without taking the order. The minute they say, “I guess I’m the second one,” say “Repeat this after me.”

You will notice we do not say, “Pray this after me,” we say, “Repeat this after me.” If you say, “Pray this after me,” it will often frighten them but if you just say, “Repeat this after me,” when you go in the power of the Holy Ghost, they will repeat after you.

After the young man had said the prayer she asked him where Jesus was and he said, “In my heart.” And I wish you could have seen the expression on his face!

We went to Portugal and “There Are Two Kinds Of…” caught on all over nation. We didn’t do very much of it because we can’t speak Portuguese but we had one of the associate pastors who really got the idea. We went into the Pizza Hut and he said to a man, “There are two kinds of people who work in this Pizza Hut. One who is saved and one who is about to be.”

The man said, “I know, I was at the service last night and I heard this lady say that because I belong to that church.” He said, “I got two others this morning just by asking them that same thing.”

In Portugal they do not have enough room to park when you go to a restaurant so the thing you have to do is to take a taxi to the restaurant because you can absolutely never find a place to park.

On the way back the pastor with us said to the taxi driver, “There are two kinds of men who drive taxis.” This was in Portuguese and the man gave an excuse, which some people attempt to do.

The driver said, “Well, I don’t know how anybody could accept Jesus when the world is in such a bad condition as it is.” He began to ramble along that line.

When we got back to the hotel everybody got out of the taxi before I did and the man turned around like he was going to tell me a secret that the rest of them didn’t know.

He said, “Do you know I speak English?”

I said, “Great! Now, you can repeat this after me in English and get saved.” When you know who you are in Christ and you go with the anointing of God, they will do what you ask them to do so he promptly prayed the sinner’s prayer. Hallelujah!

We recently received a phone call from this Portuguese pastor when he was in the U.S. and he was bursting with excitement! He said, “From the time I led the aircap to Jesus and got to the international gate, I led ten people to Jesus!”

We were recently having a late dinner at a hotel after a meeting and we had to go through a bar area to get into the dining room. Charles saw a lady coming out of the bar and told her that, “There are two kinds of people who work in a dining room who also have to work in a bar, those who have accepted Jesus and those who are about to which are you?”

Her answer was very interesting because she said, “I am a Moslem.”

Charles then repeated, “There are two kinds of Moslems, those who want to go to heaven and those who want to go to hell.” She said, “I want to go to heaven,” so she immediately prayed the sinner’s prayer and when he asked her where Jesus was she said, “In my heart!”

Every individual is an opportunity!

We were standing outside a motel in New York waiting for someone to pick us up to take us to the airport when the girl who was at the desk at the hotel came out and said, “I just have to get out of that place and have a cigarette.”

You can take advantage of anything anybody says so I said, “You know, I used to smoke five packages of cigarettes a day but Jesus set me free.” Then I said, “There are two kinds of people who work in a hotel like this – those who have accepted Jesus as their Savior and Lord and those who are about to. Which are you?”

She answered, “Do you think He could set me free of cigarettes?”

I said, “If He set me free, He can certainly set you free. Repeat this after me right now.” She prayed the prayer asking Jesus to come into her heart and then we prayed and asked Him to totally set her free of the desire for any and all cigarettes.

One night on the way home from a meeting, we stopped at a grocery store called Lucky’s. There were no customers in the store because they were getting ready to close. Charles went in and when he got to the
cashier he said, “I’m sorry I had to hold you up for a few minutes.”

She said, “Oh, if you only knew how tired I am.” Charles said, “Well, I know somebody who can give you a lot more energy.” Then he said, “There are two kinds of cashiers at Lucky’s store,” and you know the answer already.

She said, “I’m the one that’s about to.” So she prayed and accepted Jesus and then Charles asked Jesus to really give her some supernatural energy.

We had been sharing this in churches and it is amazing how fast children catch on! At the next service, a mother came in and said, “We went to Taco Bell for lunch and my little girl said to the cashier, ‘There are two kinds of cashiers at Taco Bell, those who are saved and those who are about to be. Which are you?’ The girl said, ‘I’m about to be saved.”‘

The little seven year old panicked and said, “Mother, what do I do now?” Her mother came right up and led the Taco Bell cashier to the Lord. Children love to do things like this and so do adults. It is transforming people who love Jesus because they have discovered how easy it is to reap the harvest!

“Yesterday I received a newspaper from the Happy Hunters and I read that there are two kinds of people. When I went outside I called for my kitty which was lost and as I started back to go in the house I
heard this stutterer saying, “I hear a kitty.” I asked this man if he would believe with me that Jesus would heal. He did. Then I told him of two kinds of people and he asked Jesus to come into his heart. Then I said there was more. God delivered him from alcohol and filled him with the Holy Spirit all within five minutes. He went on praising God down the street. God is so real. I gave him a book on his spiritual walk and for his growth.”

Sometimes people ask, “Does this really work? What happens to the people after they say the sinner’s prayer?” Exactly the same thing that happens when they go to an altar at a church or at a big crusade. It
depends on the sincerity of their prayer.

Three years ago we stopped at the Tampa airport and had nachos for breakfast because we think nachos for breakfast is one of the greatest things anyone can eat. While we were there, we led the young lady to Jesus. We came back the following year and were looking at our tickets to make sure that we knew exactly what time our plane left. We didn’t really look up and Charles said, “Do you know there are two
kinds of waitresses in this restaurant?”

She said, “You got me last year, remember? And would you like to know what happened?” She proceeded to tell us what God had done in her life in the year since she had accepted Jesus. We went back again this
year and she was coming to work just as Charles and I walked in, once again to have nachos for breakfast. She ran up and hugged us like we were her mother and father. She said, “You don’t have to tell me who you are, but I want to tell you what has happened to me in the last year.” She went on to tell us how she had graduated from the university with honors and how she had bought herself a home. She said, “All of this is only because of the fact that you led me to Jesus three years ago! How wonderfully my life has changed since then!”

Don’t ever underestimate the power of the Holy Spirit to pick up the people who really mean business and put them where they need to be put!

Some people really get the message of “There are two kinds of…” and other people don’t, but how we love the ones who do.

Some friends of ours were in the airport in Newark on the way to Russia and they were thirsty. They saw a girl there with a bottle of water so they asked her where she got it. She said, “In the employees’ lounge.”
Then they said, “There are two kinds of people who work at this airport, those who are saved and those who are about to be, which are you?” She said, “I guess I’m about to,” so she prayed to receive Jesus.
Then they said, “Well, not only do you have bottled water now, you have living water as well!”

There are opportunities wherever you go! A friend of ours took a friend of hers to the hospital and was waiting outside on the benches in the emergency room. There was another man sitting there who had
apparently been sitting there a long time because he was yawning. She asked him if he was tired and he said “Yes,” because he had been there such a long time. She said, “There are two kinds of tired people who wait in the emergency room, those who are saved and those who are about to be, which one are you?”

He said, “I guess I need to be!” He prayed to receive Jesus as his Savior and Lord just sitting on the benches outside waiting to hear bad news about someone on the inside. People are HUNGRY for the good news of God if we will only open our mouths and talk to them.

We challenge you to take advantage of every opportunity (person) who comes before you! Jesus said, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”

As we were finishing this book we went to have a quick dinner at a local fast food place. We were waiting for our order when a little four-year-old girl came over and asked, “Do you know Jesus?” I said, “Yes, do you know Him?” She said, “Yes.” I said, “Do you love Him like I do?” And she said, “Yes, I love Him very much.” While this conversation was going on, a young lady came up and said, “I am the waitress here, so if there is anything that you need after you pick up your order, I’ll be very glad to get it for you.” She said, “Is there anything I can do for you right now?”

Charles said, “Yes. You can answer this question. There are two kinds of beautiful waitresses in this restaurant. Those who have accepted Jesus and those who are about to, which are you?” There was no
hesitation whatsoever. She simply said, “I’m the one about to,” so she prayed the sinner’s prayer.

The lady at the next table overheard us and she said, “I couldn’t help but hear that Name. I want to talk to you because you must have been leading that lady to Jesus.” She had no more than gotten these
words out of her mouth when this same waitress came back with a young man. She said, “Would you please give him what you gave me because he needs it, too.” So Charles asked the young man the question and he accepted Jesus as his Savior and Lord.

By this time the conversation on our side of the restaurant was about Jesus, so we were really having an exciting time although we hardly had the opportunity to eat any of our dinner (who cares?).

The same waitress came back again and said, “I’ve got another one for you. Would you give to him what you gave to me because he really needs it. He stole my tip yesterday!” The thing that excited us so much was the fact that when that one girl got the message she really took off. When we left she said, “Would you please come back to dinner again real soon because I have a lot of them in here that I would like to
bring over to you?”

If we could just get one person like that at each of our churches, wouldn’t it be exciting…especially if that one person was YOU!
