TO VISITORS ABOUT WELCOME

Letter 1

Please accept this expression of appreciation for your visit to First Church last Sunday. It was kind of you to include our church in your plans for the day, and I sincerely hope you received spiritual inspiration and blessing from our time together in the presence of the Lord.

We understand that you will be unable to attend First Church regularly, since you live outside our city. Nevertheless, we want you to know that the doors of our church are always open to you. If you have occasion to be in (name of city) again, please be assured that a welcome will await you at First Church.

Again, thanks for worshipping with us last Sunday.

Sincerely,

Pastor

Dear Miss Doron Lee Bailey,

Christian greetings in JESUS NAME!!!

It was our privilege recently to have you as our guest. We hope you felt the Christian Love that the LORD has put in our hearts for you. We want you and yours to feel like this could be your House of Refuge from the storms of life that swirl around all of us. We welcome you to visit us again & again until you can truly say that the Apostolics of Liberty have found a home in your heart!

We are just plain folk with a burning desire to be saved and to share the truths that we have found with every one we meet. Our exuberance and outward manifestations are nothing more than heartfelt worship
expressed in a Biblical manner; the results of an overwhelming touch of GOD’S GRACE. If you have any questions regarding our manner of worship, doctrine, or conduct please feel free to ask. We would respond with truth, sincerity, and love.

As the Pastor of the Church I would like to invite you to take advantage of all the amenities offered here. If you have any counseling needs, social problems, marriages, deaths, sicknesses, etc., please feel like you can call on us day or night and we will respond. Hopefully you are not distressed as of today, but life has a way of throwing us a curve when we’re least expecting it. So, hold on to this offer and use it when needed.

Again we’d like to thank you for visiting and gracing us with your presence. You’ve lent us that special element that every family needs! (New Ones) We’d love to have you back, and this time bring someone
else as your guest. They will be welcomed also! May the LORD richly bless you!!

Until He comes,

John H. Morgans
Pastor

P.S. If you have never had our HOME BIBLE STUDY series called EXPLORING GOD’S WORD, I would personally invite you to ask to receive it. This is a study given by one of our qualified teachers in the
privacy of your own home. It is totally cost free and there are no strings attached. The only requirement is that you open your heart as you open His Word. This study panoramically covers the whole Bible from
Genesis to Revelations. I know you’ll be thrilled with every lesson so contact us as soon as possible to begin your exciting study of God’s Word!!!

Letter 4

Tom Smith
3837 Keystone Ave
Woodland, CA 95695

Dear Tom:

My wife and I are so happy that you chose to be in service with us this past Sunday. It was a real joy for us to break the Bread of Life and share it with you. We know you must have felt the same beautiful presence of the Lord as the rest of us.

Tom, these are the most exciting days in the Kingdom of God that we have ever experienced. As you probably noticed here at the United Pentecostal Church, revival fires are burning brightly. We are seeing
a return of the people of God to basic fundamental doctrines and heart felt New Testament worship. As a result, we are seeing more miracles! More conversions! More baptisms! And our faith is reaching new
dimensions in Jesus Christ.

We are interested in you and your family. If there is a place in your heart and life for a Pastor who wants to see you possess the best that God has and for a Pastor who really cares, then we offer our ministry to you. If there are any pastoral services that we may render to you, whether in prayer, in counseling, in spiritual guidance, by answering your questions, or just by being a friend, please give us a call at any time, night or day.

Tom, you know, of course, that you are always welcome here at the United Pentecostal Church and we look forward to your next visit when we will break bread together again. God’s richest blessings be upon you and your family. Join us again soon.

Sincerely, because I care,

Pastor Dave Johnson
United Pentecostal Church

P.S. As an expression of our genuine concern, we would like to offer you and your family a free Home Bible Study. This study is available in the privacy of your home and covers the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. We are sure you will be richly blessed by it. Someone from our church family will contact you in a few days.

PROSPECT’S LETTER

Letter 6

November 16, 1988

Teresa Bowen
Route 4, Box 284
Morton, MS 39117

Dear Teresa,

It’s so good to see a desire in your heart to walk in the footsteps of the Lord. It is evident that God is active in your life.

Everyone needs a good church family and I want you to know that you are among friends at The Polkville Pentecostal Church. We all have needs: both personal and spiritual. Those needs are important to Jesus, and therefore are important to us. A church home is a good foundation to build on as we face life from day to day.

Please don’t hesitate to call if we can be of any help to you and your walk with God. “We Care” is more than just a cliche around here! We are striving to provide an effective ministry to “real” people, in a “real” world, with “real” problems.

In Christ’s Service,

Barron D. Price, Pastor

Dear Teresa,

It’s so good to see a new desire in your heart to walk in the footsteps of the Lord. It is evident that God is active in your life and that you want to renew your experience.

Satan would like to convince you that there is no hope for you, or that you will not be received back into the church family as you once were. You need to know that Satan is a liar and that we are anxious to see you completely restored to God and to this church.
