You Can Prove Creation To Anyone

YOU CAN PROVE CREATION TO ANYONE…

THE TRADITIONAL WRISTWATCH STORY

The story is told of a forester who walked through a rain forest for hours. He cut the tight ivy growth with a bolo knife. When he became exhausted, he sat down against the trunk of a large tree. He saw something shiny on the ground. It was a gold wristwatch. It was running and it displayed the same time as his own wristwatch.

He assumed someone had dropped it out of an airplane or helicopter. It had to be created by a factory of very skillful watchmakers.

But suppose this forester had been of the same imaginative philosophy as the majority of high school teachers and college professors. He might have written a book about how the gold, silver, steel, and chemicals in the dirt of the forest were changed and shaped by bolts of lightning, earthquakes, and tornadoes to cause the elements to form a wristwatch.

WHO MADE THE CAKE?

Little children from their earliest observations know that when they see a decorated cake it is appropriate to ask, “Who made the cake?” When they see a new swing in the elm tree, it is very appropriate to ask, “Did daddy make the swing?” There are billions of examples of creation by human beings, by spiders making webs, by birds making nests. But nobody ever saw anything
evolve.

THE SHELL PATTERN

Even the tiniest example of design implies a designer. If a young child happened to see five cardium shells (or any other type of seashells) arranged in the sand, as shown in figure “a,” he would say to his parents, “Look what somebody did. ”

I have walked on hundreds of beaches and I’ve found thousands of seashells. I have not seen shells arranged in any design by the sands and tides. Such a pattern requires a creator like a child or a person.

THE TWIG PATTERN

To those of you whose houses are surrounded by trees, I believe I can safely say you have never seen such a pattern of twigs arranged in a figure “b” unless someone fixed them in that pattern.

ABOUT PROBABILITY

A person must admit that it is possible for the wind, rainstorms, and earthquakes to cause such a pattern, but an honest mathematician would have to admit it could take billions of years for it to happen anywhere in anyone of the many forests in the world. No one can imagine how this twig
pattern could have happened randomly. This pattern required a creator, like a boy playing with sticks.

MOONSTONES

Moonstones can be found on certain beaches of the world. They are circular (or oval), smooth, and translucent. From a distance they simply look bubbles in the wet sand. True moonstones are smoothly formed by the sandpaper action of the rocks tumbling in the tide and waves. They continue to get a translucent surface by the long term action of the sand. One could say they are a creation of God because He controls all the tides and waves. An atheist could say that the moonstones were simply created by the tides and waves.

A FALSE MOONSTONE

One day I was examining my moonstone collection and I found to my surprise (as I held one up against the sky) that it read “Coca-Co Astoria. Of course I knew immediately it was not a moonstone. It was a sand-polished bottom of an old-fashioned Coke bottle. Anyone who would write a book in an attempt to prove that rocks striking a moonstone over the million of years,
happened to make this Coca-Co Astoria engraving, would be declared an idiot.

(A millionaire in one of my lecture sessions said, “If you ever find another one of those Coke bottle bottoms, I’ll use it as a witness of creation.” I gave him the Coke bottle bottom. He had it mounted in solid gold and attached a heavy masculine chain to it. He still wears it.)

AN APPLICATION TO THE BOTTLE CREATOR

The millionaire began examining and thinking logically about the significance of the bottle bottom. He decided it was created by a Coca-Cola bottle manufacturing company, perhaps in Astoria, Oregon. We’ll never know how the bottle got to the ocean, we only know it did.

AN APPLICATION TO THE HUMAN BODY

The examiner of the bottle bottom thought about how he had decided about its creator. He suddenly thought about his body. His body (and yours) are as much above the complexity of the bottle engraving as the cosmos is above a speck of dirt. The human adult body contains 100 trillion cells, each of which contains an extremely complex DNA molecule. Each molecule is believed
to contain as many orders or recorded information as 12 sets of 24 volume encyclopedias. The examiner said to himself, “How could my professors possibly say that there was no creator of the human body?” They said it just evolved. The evolution professors are ignoring the logic of common sense. Down deep in their souls they just don’t want to admit that there is a God. They don’t believe the crazy idea that the wristwatch happened by evolution (the random positioning of elemental parts), but they are forced to admit that the human body happened by evolution (the random positioning of elemental parts).

If God exists, maybe He wrote the Bible, maybe we are all guilty of sin, maybe we’ll go to hell. It’s much easier to teach that we just evolved, so we will assume that no Creator was needed.

THE BIBLE HAS THIS TO SAY ABOUT THE COMPLEXITY OF MANKIND

In Genesis God spoke through an angel of the Lord saying, “I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heavens and as the sand on the seashore” (Genesis 22:17, Amplified).

How complicated are you? David said, “How precious and weighty also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I could count them, they are more in number than the sand” (Psalm 139:17,18, Amplified).

SUMMARY

All people have faith . . . some have faith in a most improbable circumstance, some have faith in an invisible God.
